The Coconut School project is a very deserving initiative. Aimed at providing children on the Silk Island community with access to

the internet and IT resources during the weekends to aid teach them English, Computer Science and Art.

The Women's International Group Community Fund Project team received an application from the local orgnaniser and after a

thorough review decided that it was a very worthy cause and worth donating to support its start-up. What was really amazing is that

the whole school is constructed from waste material such as old bottles, tyres and other refuse.  A great and exciting way to help

teach the children about recycling and green initiatives too!
